Local vintage collector sets up inside West Seattle’s favorite shoe store.

What: In certain circles, there are certain women who say the names in proud, hushed tones. “Dana. Sustalux.” It’s the only answer they’ll give as you eye a new-on-them ’60s dress or admire a vintage clutch. Dana Guyton curates a collection called Sustalux Sustainable Vintage; the semi-secret no-frills warehouse location is no barrier as far as her loyal following is concerned.

So I can just imagine that they—as well as the newcomers that are sure to show up—will show up in droves when the collector sets up inside West Seattle’s favorite shoe shop. Expect designer vintage scores and one-of-a-kind finds; Guyton’s prices are always very fair. I am told the mini boutique will focus on “resort style and fashion-forward pieces to weather the rest of the winter season.”

Owner Dana Guyton caters to a select clientele out of her studio in Sodo with private styling sessions, but will be bringing her incredible finds to Clementine in West Seattle on Saturday, January 28 and Sunday, January 29 for a fabulous trunk show.

Vintage lovers and fashion fanatics are invited to peruse a selection of stand out clothing, shoes, accessories and jewelry from all eras and in all sizes and styles.

Shoppers can expect a carefully edited array of clothing and accessories, with a focus on chic resort style, as well as affordable options to weather the rest of winter in bright, dazzling and fashion-forward style.
